Inside Dust Series
I created a series of ephemeral interventions in an abandoned house using dust and the trajectories of light and air I observed there, then documented these gestures in photographs and video. I collected, dispersed, and brushed dust that had accumulated in the house into shapes and layers related to where light and air would move through gaps, breaks, and holes in the failing architecture of the house. The path of the sun outside cast or withdrew light across the ephemeral dust shapes inside, revealing moments paradoxically ordered by entropy and dissolution.
